ci: track codec versions with Renovate; its PRs get their checksums rewritten - #27
The five codec versions in linux/Dockerfile were pinned by hand with nothing watching them; libogg (1.3.6) and opus (1.6.1) have since released.
Each *_VERSION ARG gets a # renovate: comment: xiph's libs from their GitHub tags (rc and beta tags excluded), lame and opencore-amr from Repology's Alpine edge packages, since SourceForge has no Renovate datasource.
Renovate can bump a version but not its *_SHA256. codec-checksums.yml runs on Renovate PRs that touch the Dockerfile: .github/scripts/codec-checksums.sh downloads the tarball for each version that differs from main, writes its SHA-256, commits it, then dispatches mirror.yml and codeql.yml, because a GITHUB_TOKEN push starts no checks. codeql.yml gains workflow_dispatch for that.
Versions that didn't change are never re-hashed, so a tarball replaced upstream still fails sha256sum -c. A bumped version takes its hash from the same download the build makes, the trust FFmpeg itself already gets from its release tag.
renovate.json ignores the bot's commits (gitIgnoredAuthors), so Renovate keeps rebasing and automerging the PR.
Checked against real downloads: bumping ogg to 1.3.6 and opus to 1.6.1 writes 5c825342… and 6ffcb593…, both matching xiph's published SHA256SUMS; no bump changes nothing; a 404 or a version no URL uses exits non-zero without touching the file; a wrong hash on an unchanged version is left for the build to reject. The two bumps themselves are left for Renovate's next run, which exercises the workflow end to end.

Chores
Codec checksum values are automatically refreshed when supported codec versions change.
Pull requests that update the Linux build configuration can trigger checksum updates and related validation workflows.
The CodeQL workflow can be started manually, in addition to its existing automatic runs.
Codec version updates for LAME, OGG, Vorbis, and Opus are tracked alongside their corresponding checksums.

Walkthrough
The pull request adds Renovate annotations for codec versions and automates checksum updates for eligible pull requests. The workflow commits checksum changes and dispatches follow-up workflows. CodeQL can also be started manually.

Summary
Codec update inputs and checksum calculation .github/scripts/codec-checksums.sh, linux/Dockerfile
The Dockerfile adds Renovate annotations for LAME, OGG, Vorbis, and Opus. The script compares versions with the base ref and updates checksums for changed versions.
The workflow runs the script for eligible Renovate pull requests, commits and pushes checksum updates, then dispatches mirror.yml and codeql.yml. CodeQL supports manual dispatch. Renovate ignores commits from the GitHub Actions bot author.

Merge Risk: Minimal · up to 7116c
The change automates checksum updates for Renovate codec bumps using the same upstream sources and trust model as before. No concrete merge-blocking risk remains. Real end-to-end behavior will be exercised by Renovate's next run.

…nly on a real diff
Repology returns origversion (3.100-r5), which isn't an upstream tarball. A PR whose checksums are already right no longer fails on an empty commit.
* ci: retry downloads; Renovate tracks actionlint's tag and commit
A TLS reset fetching libogg failed #27's build; --retry-all-errors covers it, where plain --retry skips connect errors. actionlint's binary floated to latest while its script was pinned by commit; both now move together.
* ci: hash a downloaded file, and pin actionlint's tarball by SHA-256
A retried curl can append to a pipe, so the checksum script downloads to a file first. actionlint now comes from its release tarball, checked against a SHA-256 Renovate moves with the tag, instead of an installer script piped into bash.
* ci: one temp file for the checksum downloads, removed on any exit
* chore(renovate): take gitIgnoredAuthors from the chodeus-ops preset
