Summary

Replace superseded PR/push CI checks using workflow/event/PR-or-full-ref concurrency keys. The disabled CodeQL workflow is preserved byte-for-byte from the base; it is not activated.

Existing latest-only Pages deployment and dependency-graph publication policies are unchanged. No deployment or publication was invoked locally.

Validation: changed workflows pass actionlint 1.7.12 (shellcheck/pyflakes disabled; custom runner label diagnostics narrowly excluded), YAML parsing and git diff --check.

Native cancellation acceptance is being validated separately in isolated TEST. Queued-job supersession was observed; running-job/matrix E2E remains pending. No production cancellation races or live infrastructure operations were run. Merge remains gated on exact-head CI and completion of TEST acceptance.

Project validation

  • go test ./... (not run locally; YAML-only change, CI pending)
  • go test -race ./... (CI pending)
  • npm run docs:build (docs unchanged; CI build pending)

Boundary check

  • No app-specific REST DTOs or product-specific routes added.
  • Transport and app-layer separation preserved.

Walkthrough

The CI and CodeQL workflows now group runs by event and pull-request number or ref. The CI workflow cancels in-progress runs in the same group. CodeQL cancels in-progress runs for pull requests and pushes, but not other events.

Changes: Workflow concurrency

Layer / File(s) Summary
Workflow concurrency rules
.github/workflows/ci.yml, .github/workflows/codeql.yml
The CI workflow groups runs by event and pull-request number or ref, then cancels older runs in the same group. CodeQL groups runs by event and uses the run ID for events other than pull requests and pushes. It cancels in-progress runs only for pull requests and pushes.

A rabbit checks the workflow queue,
New runs arrive; old runs withdraw.
CI groups them by event and ref,
CodeQL keeps its run ID in view.
I nibble greens, then hop away.
