The vendored apk/ipa/aab readers parsed icons, provisioning profiles, activities, services, permissions etc. that nothing consumed, and AabParser.parse() was never called (getAabInfo goes through protobuf). - binary XML reader keeps the element tree and the int/string/reference/ boolean value types; manifest parsing reduces to parseApkManifest() returning versionName and application meta-data - resource-finder drops DEBUG output, the unused type/key string pools, type-spec decoding and entryMap - Zip/AppInfoParser/AppParser classes become readZipEntries(); ipa is parsePlist(); AabParser is extractApk() - getApkInfo / getIpaInfo read every entry (manifest and resources, or the plist) in a single zip scan instead of two, sharing one result helper - drop the cgbi-to-png dependency and 8 unused locale keys getApkInfo and the full resources.arsc map are byte-identical to the old parser on four real release APKs. …ency - utils/latest-version (a 581-line copy of @badisi/latest-version) becomes a ~190-line getLatestVersions(): only the `latest` dist-tag is read, so the package.json input, installed-version lookups (three sync requires and a node_modules walk per package on every check), wanted/next/range logic and the public types go; cache location and file format are unchanged - userCacheDir() in fs-helpers replaces the two copies of the platform cache directory logic (auto-update, latest-version) - gradle.properties' hermesEnabled is read with a regex (same results as the properties package on the usual forms: separators, comments, last wins), so the properties dependency goes Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

A write-stream error (ENOSPC, EACCES, output path is a directory) can come while diff or RepackSink is still building entries, long before anyone awaits writePromise; with no handler attached yet it surfaced as an unhandled rejection and ended the process before abort() could clean up.
