Prepare the 0.14.0 release metadata and user-facing notes: Rust crate/lockfile versions, verbose version output, HTTP User-Agent, and synchronized embedded C sources. The changelog covers package import resolution, the new [package] lib = "something.fl" entry-point manifest field (PR #14), package-install recovery fixes (#11), and dependency-expansion fixes (#13). Keep this PR in draft until PRs #10, #11, #13, and #14 are merged and final release checks pass; do not tag or publish artifacts before then.

Summary by Sourcery

Prepare the project metadata and release documentation for version 0.14.0.

Enhancements:

  • Update release metadata and user-facing version reporting for the 0.14.0 release, including Rust crates, lockfiles, HTTP User-Agent values, and synchronized embedded C sources.

Documentation:

  • Document package import layouts, manifest entry-point configuration, dependency-installation behavior, and 0.14.0 compatibility notes.

Chores:

  • Add the draft 0.14.0 release notes and defer publishing until the required prerequisite changes and final release checks are complete.

**HTTPS omits Flint User-Agent**

When an HTTPS request has no explicit User-Agent header, `http_request_native` dispatches HTTPS to `curl_fetch`, whose curl arguments do not add a Flint User-Agent; HTTPS requests therefore identify as curl rather than `flint/0.14.0`.

Add the same default Flint User-Agent to the HTTPS curl arguments in both runtime copies.

Also at `rust/flintlang/c-src/src/runtime/http.c:522`.

**Rust guide shows stale release**

When readers consult the Rust guide for the 0.14.0 crate version, `docs/rust.md` still identifies the Rust crate as tracking 0.13.0, so it gives outdated release information and conflicts with the README's 0.14.0 guidance.

Update `docs/rust.md` to say the Rust crate tracks version 0.14.0.
