Please allocate 1209:D10C to VIIPER Generic Joystick, a software-only USB/IP virtual HID joystick fed by DS4Windows.
The intended production device has a fixed descriptor: six absolute axes, sixteen buttons and one eight-direction POV hat. DS4Windows profiles configure axis roles, trigger resting positions and numbered button assignments without changing the advertised button capacity. Controllers with fewer physical inputs can leave outputs unassigned. The device has no force-feedback or audio interfaces and does not impersonate another manufacturer's USB identity.
The implementation is on the matching
feature/directinput-outputbranches:A fixed registered identity provides consistent device enumeration and saved game bindings across installations. This request covers this one sixteen-button descriptor; an incompatible future descriptor would require a separate identity.
The feature remains gated to an isolated testing preview using an unallocated lab identity. We will adopt the requested identity only after approval. Automated descriptor, mapping and report tests cover the sixteen-button design; native Windows and target-game acceptance remain required before production release.
