Reflective attribute edits now preserve CPython-style AttributeError name/obj selection for frames, frame locals proxies, code objects, cells, properties and super objects. Missing names retain the original receiver and reflected string-subtype key independently of args; read-only native fields remain empty. Direct numeric storage descriptors use the same native failure contract, with receiver validation first.
Adds 78 supported reference cases and nine explicit boundary cases, parked lifetime/allocation checks, composed module/dynamic/generator programs and an installed offline example with Stop/Restart acceptance. Tracing/jumping and callback-bearing reflective mutation keys remain explicit refusals. The latter has a finite follow-up in #757, including the other native mutation layouts.
Validation on macOS arm64 with CPython 3.14.7, Node 24.19.0 and Chromium 156.0.8078.4:
scripts/run_tests.py prinventory). The scalar-subtype dictionary regression was caught during review and affected checks were repeated after its fix. Local parallel Chromium runs produced worker module-loading errors; failed or unfinished checks ran in one browser runner, followed by one residual retry with
POCKET_PYTHON_BROWSER_WORKERS=1. Passing results for unchanged behavior were retained.Closes #756 (LA-59–LA-61). Refs #600 and #124; both parent milestones remain open.
Merged as 56e19c1 using the complete local validation above. The automatically triggered duplicate PR workflow was cancelled; final main smoke passes. #600/#124 are reconciled and #756 is complete in the Project.
