API Changes
Several empty or zero-valued fields in cluster object set and deployment data may now be omitted from JSON output, changing how unset fields are represented.
Cluster object set status cannot be removed once set; updates that remove it are rejected.
The status field uses zero-value omission behavior, while observed phase details follow empty-value omission behavior.
Phase object lists in cluster object sets and deployments are treated as atomic during Kubernetes patch and merge operations.
It looks like this branch is under active development. To avoid overwhelming you with review comments due to an influx of new commits, CodeRabbit has automatically paused this review. You can configure this behavior by changing the reviews.auto_review.auto_pause_after_reviewed_commits setting.
JSON serialization tags changed on fields in the ClusterObjectDeployment and ClusterObjectSet API types. Phase object lists are now atomic in the API marker and CRD schemas. ClusterObjectSet validation rejects removal of status after it has been set.

Summary
Update API serialization tags api/v1/clusterobjectdeployment_types.go, api/v1/clusterobjectset_types.go, hack/api-lint-diff/run.sh, api/v1/clusterobjectset_types_test.go
Several fields now use omitempty. ClusterObjectSet.Status uses omitzero. Linter suppressions and the Warn policy were added, and test expectations now match required-value errors.
The ClusterObjectSetPhase.Objects API marker and the deployment and object-set CRD schemas declare phase object lists atomic.
Prevent removal of existing status api/v1/clusterobjectset_types.go, applyconfigurations/api/v1/clusterobjectset.go, helm/olmv1/base/object-controller/crd/experimental/olm.operatorframework.io_clusterobjectsets.yaml, manifests/experimental*.yaml
Validation rejects updates that remove ClusterObjectSet.status when it existed in the previous object. Comments and schema descriptions document that status cannot be removed once set.
Resolve the remaining API serialization and lint-coverage risks before merging; the documentation typos are minor but should also be corrected.

As noted in previous reviews, omitempty creates issues for these fields. Unless other actions are suggested, I propose we set //nolint:kubeapilinter on these with reasons stated.
