feat(clan): add Clan Shop button to clan detail page when affiliate items exist - #6225
Adds a "Clan Shop" action button on the Clan detail view (ClanDetailView.ts) when the cosmetics catalog contains items matching the clan's tag as an affiliateCode.
Key changes:
findClanAffiliateCode helper (ClanShared.ts): Case-insensitively matches the clan's tag against all cosmetics categories (patterns, flags, crowns, skins, effects) and returns the canonical affiliateCode from the catalog.
"Clan Shop" Button (ClanDetailView.ts): Rendered in the clan profile action buttons row when an affiliate code exists for the clan. Clicking it closes the clan modal and dispatches open-store with { affiliateCode }, opening the store directly in affiliate mode.
Close Event propagation (ClanModal.ts): <clan-detail-view> emits @close-clan-modal on shop navigation so the clan modal closes before the store modal opens.
Internationalization (resources/lang/en.json): Added "clan_shop": "Clan Shop" under clan_modal.
Unit Tests (ClanShared.test.ts, ClanModal.rendering.test.ts): Comprehensive unit tests covering findClanAffiliateCode (matching across categories, case-insensitivity, non-matches) and verifying the button renders with correct data attributes and event firing.
Please complete the following:
I have added screenshots for all UI updates
I process any text displayed to the user through translateText() and I've added it to the en.json file
I have added relevant tests to the test directory

The clan detail view checks cosmetic affiliate codes against the clan tag. When it finds a purchasable match, it shows a Clan Shop action. Selecting the action closes the clan modal and opens the store with that code.
findClanAffiliateCode searches five cosmetic groups for affiliate codes that match the trimmed clan tag without regard to case. It returns a code when at least one matching item is purchasable. Tests cover missing data, matching rules, and purchase eligibility.
The detail view loads cosmetic and user data when it restores or fetches clan details. It retries the lookup after user-data updates and ignores stale results. When a code is available, it displays the Clan Shop action, closes the modal on selection, and navigates to the store. Tests add Cosmetics mocks and verify button visibility and navigation.

openfrontio/OpenFrontIO#6150: The clan detail view starts asynchronous catalog and user-data loads with explicit fire-and-forget handling.
The shop now excludes owned and unavailable items. Narrow timing and catalog-refresh cases can still hide the button incorrectly or open an empty shop; these are bounded usability issues suitable for follow-up.

Explanation
Issue [#6217] requires a Clan Shop entry point and an in-game affiliate-store flow. The catalog-match fallback is allowed, so clan settings and schema fields are not required. findClanAffiliateCode matches the clan tag without case sensitivity across all required cosmetic categories and returns a purchasable catalog code. ClanDetailView renders the translated Clan Shop action only when such a code exists. The action emits close-clan-modal and navigates to the store with the encoded affiliate code. ClanModal forwards the close event. The changed tests cover category matching, case handling, unavailable items, rendering, and activation.

Explanation
The changed source files support [#6217]. The translation supports the new UI label. The additional Cosmetics mocks isolate existing clan tests from the new Cosmetics dependency. The new helper and rendering tests verify the requested behavior. No unrelated product behavior, schema change, or configuration change appears in the reviewed changes. The missing screenshot checklist item is non-coding and does not affect this assessment.

A clan tag meets a catalog code A shop appears along the road Fresh data checks the match anew The modal closes; the store comes through A little button points the way Clan colors brighten shopping day
Checked for bugs and CLAUDE.md compliance. Verified that #modal=store&affiliateCode=… is routed through ModalRouter.routeFromHash into Store.onOpen as args.affiliateCode. The returned code is the canonical catalog value, so the store's exact-match filter works. The new string goes through translateText() and is added to en.json. ClanDetailView still loads through the lazy clan-modal chunk, so the homepage import boundary is unchanged.
Note: the PR description says the button dispatches open-store, but the code navigates through the #modal=store hash. The behaviour is the same; you may want to update the description.
Add crown and skin cases to the affiliate code test.
The test title says it covers crowns and skins, but its fixtures contain only patterns, flags, and effects. Removing the crown or skin groups from findClanAffiliateCode would not fail any assertion. Add one crown and one skin case to close this gap.

findClanAffiliateCode covers every category in CosmeticsSchema. It handles the optional crowns/skins and the nested effects[effectType][name], and returns the catalog spelling of the code, so the store's exact-match filter still works.
loadAffiliateCode resets the code before each load in both restoreFromCache and loadDetail, and it uses the same asyncGeneration + tag guard as loadDiscordMeta. A slow response for one clan can't show the button on another.
The new string goes through translateText() and has an entry in en.json.
Every test file that renders ClanDetailView now mocks Cosmetics, so the tests don't fetch the real catalog.
Add a purchasable fixture and an affiliate inventory assertion to the Clan Shop test.
The positive fixture has no colorPalettes, priceSoft, or priceHard. Its only palette entry is the null palette, which the store treats as blocked. The store therefore never lists the item in the affiliate inventory.
The test stubs open. It checks only the button, the modal state, the hash, and the open arguments. The test can pass while the Clan Shop opens with no affiliate items.
Use a cosmetic that the store marks as purchasable for the clan's affiliate code. Assert that the affiliate store inventory contains that item. Keep the change inside this test file.

Cover the click-to-store path through the production hashchange route.
Cover the click-to-store path through the production hashchange route.
The test title says the Clan Shop button opens the affiliate store on click. The test does not check that. Line 639 calls modalRouter.routeFromHash() directly after the click. No hashchange listener is registered in the test files. The test therefore passes even if the production hashchange listener in Main.ts stops routing #modal=store hashes.
Removing the manual call alone would make the test fail. The production listener is not active in this test. The test needs a path that runs the production route, or it needs an assertion on the listener wiring.

Update the Clan Shop click test so it verifies routing through the production
`hashchange` listener in `Main.ts`, rather than calling
`modalRouter.routeFromHash()` directly. Set up the production listener or assert
its wiring, then confirm the click-triggered `#modal=store` hash opens the
affiliate store.
Retry the affiliate code lookup once after a null catalog result.
Retry the affiliate code lookup once after a null catalog result.
When fetchCosmetics() returns null, loadAffiliateCode leaves affiliateCode null. The Clan Shop button then stays hidden. The lookup does not run again while the element stays connected. A catalog request made later can succeed, because a null result is not cached.
The current fallback is safe. The button stays hidden and nothing fails. One bounded retry would let the button appear once the catalog recovers.
If you add a retry, keep the existing checks. After the retry completes, return early when asyncGeneration or clanTag no longer matches the values captured at the start of the call. Cancel any pending retry when the element disconnects, so a stale timer cannot update a removed view.

Update loadAffiliateCode to retry fetchCosmetics once when the first result is
null, then perform the existing asyncGeneration and clanTag checks after the
retry before updating affiliateCode. Keep the retry bounded to one attempt, and
cancel any pending retry when the element disconnects.
Add test cases for padded and blank affiliate tags.
Add test cases for padded and blank affiliate tags.
The new findClanAffiliateCode tests pass only unpadded tags. Removing clanTag.trim() in src/client/components/clan/ClanShared.ts would leave every test passing. A padded tag from the list path can reach this helper without other trimming, so a future regression can hide the Clan Shop button for that tag without a test failure.
Add a case such as findClanAffiliateCode(cosmetics, " VIK ") that expects "vik". Add a blank-tag case, such as findClanAffiliateCode(cosmetics, " "), that expects null.

Update the findClanAffiliateCode tests to cover whitespace handling: verify a
padded tag such as “ VIK ” matches the catalog’s exact spelling “vik”, and a
whitespace-only tag returns null.
Re-reviewed the whole PR and checked for bugs and CLAUDE.md compliance.
openClanShop sends close-clan-modal first. BaseModal.close() then calls modalRouter.syncClosed synchronously, and only after that is #modal=store&affiliateCode=… set. So closing the clan modal does not clear the store route.
fetchCosmetics and refreshStaleCosmetics are both exported from src/client/Cosmetics.ts.
The new string goes through translateText() and has an entry in en.json.
Add a rendering test for a non-empty catalog whose only affiliate code belongs to another clan.
The "hides" test uses an empty catalog. A view that showed the first affiliate item would still pass it. The positive test uses one item that matches TST, so it would also pass under that regression. The rendering suite does not check that the Clan Shop button stays hidden when a non-empty catalog has no match for the clan tag.
The suggested test runs the lookup and the render before its negative assertion. waitForSubComponent drains the lookup and render chain first, so the test detects the regression. The current view hides the button correctly, so this is a coverage gap, not a functional defect.

Could you add a screenshot of the clan page with the button? Fork PRs don't get a preview deploy, so I can't see it otherwise.
CodeRabbit's owned/blocked point is real and has a concrete trigger on the server side: cosmetics.json keeps items taken off the market (forSale=false) in the catalog with their affiliateCode but no price, so a clan whose only items are off-market, or all owned by the viewer, gets a Clan Shop button that opens straight into the store's empty state. I'd run the catalog through resolveCosmetics with the code and only show the button when at least one item comes back purchasable.
findClanAffiliateCode now shows the button only if resolveCosmetics(cosmetics, userMe, code) marks at least one item with that code as purchasable. It uses the same cosmeticRelationship logic as the store: owned items, items with no price, and pattern palettes that are null or archived all count as not purchasable. So the button and the store's affiliate inventory agree.
The new userMeResponse listener can't loop. getUserMe() only reads or fills the cached promise and never dispatches userMeResponse. The listener is removed in disconnectedCallback, and its result is still checked against asyncGeneration and the tag.
cosmeticsMockFactory is now async and spreads vi.importActual. Every caller passes it as vi.mock(..., () => cosmeticsMockFactory()), so the promise goes straight to Vitest and no caller spreads it synchronously.
The positive rendering fixture has priceSoft and a non-archived palette, so it still counts as purchasable under the new filter.

Retry the affiliate lookup after a failed catalog fetch.
When fetchCosmetics() returns null, loadAffiliateCode sets affiliateCode to null. The Clan Shop button stays hidden until a userMeResponse event or a detail reload runs the lookup again.

Serialize affiliate lookups so an older result cannot win.
The userMeResponse listener starts a lookup with the same generation and tag as a pending lookup. The pending lookup can hold a getUserMe() promise fetched before invalidateUserMe(). If that older lookup finishes last, it overwrites affiliateCode with pre-update viewer state. The value stays stale until another lookup runs. Add a request sequence check in loadAffiliateCode.
