Hi Ryan Russell-Verhoef (@Detrilemma), I'm an AI Support assistant here to help with your issue. While the team reviews your request, I wanted to provide some possible tips and documentation that might help you in the meantime.
It looks like you’re hitting a NoSuchMethodError in the Eclipse JDT core (isMainMethodCandidate) when the Java Debug adapter tries to find your main method. That usually means your Java language server and the debugger extension are out of sync.
The team will respond to your issue shortly. I hope these suggestions are helpful in the meantime. If this comment helped you, please give it a 👍. If the suggestion was not helpful or incorrect, please give it a 👎. Your feedback helps us improve!

Ryan Russell-Verhoef (@Detrilemma) can you share more details about this issue? or provide some project?

The debugger fails to run any Java code. The only way I can get it to work is if I install version 56.2.
