Reviewed the descriptor identity, pinned source/hash and serial-core scope. The consumer resolves this checkout and verifies depression filling plus linked random-state save/restore. The unsupported GDAL feature was removed and the documented GLOBAL fallback retained. Local mcpp 2026.10.1.2 test passes; all current CI checks pass (conditional reporting jobs are skipped). No outstanding review findings.

Adds
compat.richdemand a consumer example resolved from this checkout. The follow-up review fixes descriptor identity/layout and validates actual library behavior. Source URLs are pinned and hashed; plain-string GLOBAL URLs retain the documented CN fallback. See
.agents/docs/2026-10-13-add-richdem-plan.mdfor build shape, feature assessment and validation.
