Outcome

Add opt-in Runtime 1.6 system APIs for authored widgets: local notifications, daily HealthKit statistics, owned Calendar event creation/update, normalized MET Norway forecasts, AlarmKit timers/alarms, selected JSON/CSV documents and Contacts, MapKit places/geocoding/snapshots, and selected HomeKit sensors/power/scenes. Includes matching editor help, browser/CLI fixtures, schema/Skill documentation and nine examples.

Fix storage identity recovery across device remounts, execute declared iOS actions in the authorized app host, and reduce dense heatmap rendering memory. Bound wide template/resource previews to their actual container and keep photo-picker controls separated on changing screen sizes. Document independent/shared iCloud JSON stores and native-only grants in the guide, sample and API help.

Compatibility and data boundaries

Additive Runtime 1.6. Native grants bind to installation UUIDs and do not transfer through imports/remixes. System writes require user actions; bounded private replay receipts preserve uncertain outcomes. Existing packages and local records remain intact. iCloud data sharing requires explicit native connections to the same store; local records are not automatically migrated. No third-party SDK is added.

Native macOS reports unavailable for HealthKit, AlarmKit and HomeKit. AlarmKit needs iOS/iPadOS 26+. App/widget minimum deployment ranges remain unchanged.

Validation

• All checks for 002cab0 passed, including the full Apple Release Readiness run, editor/catalog, CLI and Linux/Windows browsers. The following source change only sets version 27.2 / build 27019 in both Xcode projects; metadata/docs and both project lint checks passed.
• iPhone 11 / iOS 26.0.1: notification scheduling/cancellation, AlarmKit countdown pause/resume/cancel, HealthKit statistics, Calendar create/update/replay/cleanup, MapKit/weather and large heatmap memory regression retest passed. Notification delivery, alarm firing, positive Contacts/documents and real HomeKit hardware effects were not claimed.
• iPhone 17 Pro / iOS 27.0.1, TestFlight 27017: in-place upgrade preserved the original three packages. With iCloud Drive selected, new Plant Care template preview/save/cold reopen, Home Screen configuration/rendering/action and record persistence passed without manual refresh. This does not establish cross-device iCloud synchronization.
• Duo/compact layout checks include simulator fold/resize/rotation, template creation, synthetic photo crop/save and resource grid. Physical Duo, cross-device iCloud, eviction and account switching remain unexecuted.
• Local full macOS suite: 749 passed, 32 skipped, 0 failed. Local iOS rerun was blocked by simulator startup/migration; the successful remote Apple run above is the authoritative completed native gate. Three repeated local handoff checks plus onboarding passed after synchronizing the smoke test with saved project/list state.

Release

Merged to main as 31ba37a; both platforms are version 27.2 (27019). Fresh signed iOS/macOS archives and App Store exports succeeded. macOS is universal (arm64 + x86_64). Apple validation/upload and formal App Review submission succeeded for both iOS and macOS. Both 27.2 (27019) submissions are Waiting for Review. iOS submission · macOS submission.

The user subsequently authorized Web publication. GitHub Pages automatic deployment is restored, and the website, Creator Skill page and Web Studio were deployed successfully from main 31ba37a: deployment run. Physical screenshots and private logs remain local and are not published in this PR.
