Adds
devitools/php-nginx:7.3as a compatible replacement forwebdevops/php-nginx:7.3, applying the Sury source backport for CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619 with its version-specific prerequisites. The digest-pinned WebDevOps image retains its entrypoint, web server, FPM paths, environment handling and extension binaries. CLI/FPM, OPcache and configured shared modules are rebuilt with the original flags; patched headers and source are provided for downstream extensions. Source archives are checksum-verified and patch provenance is retained in the image. Upload progress is disabled following the October 23 PHP advisory.
A dedicated native amd64 workflow builds the image and verifies extension parity, normal startup, HTTP, multipart upload, configuration mounts, environment values, PHP_DISMOD, OOM callback suppression and subsequent HTTP availability. Local patch application, shell/Python syntax and diff checks passed. The native linux/amd64 image build and full compatibility/security smoke test passed: https://github.com/devitools/dockerfile/actions/runs/39959685890. Manifest validation also passed.
This PR is independent of the other compatibility images. Merging it triggers the existing publishing workflow for exactly
devitools/php-nginx:7.3. It does not deploy application containers. Only the documented security patches and prerequisites are applied; unrelated Sury fixes are outside this change, and PHP remains end of life and inherited third-party extensions are not upgraded. Encoded applications and application-specific behavior still need staging validation.
