Description of Changes

Refresh 10 of the 11 canonical SpacetimeDB skills for recent features on master, and update their packaged plugin copies. MCP is unchanged. This is the follow-up to Tyler's feature-coverage check, not a daily docs audit.

  • Add TypeScript/C# submodule registration, canonical versus accessor names, helper-context rules, client accessors, migration cautions, and language-specific restrictions. Mention the official TypeScript reusable packages and their differing registration shapes.
  • Add environment declarations/read APIs for Rust, TypeScript, C#, and C++, plus CLI precedence, preservation, environment-only updates, deletion/replacement, and inspection semantics.
  • Add runnable Rust/TypeScript in-memory module-test setup/examples and distinguish them from host-level integration tests.
  • Add parameterized view definitions, current SQL limitations, explicit raw-SQL subscriptions in TS/C#, and subscribe-all exclusions (including Unity/Unreal guidance).
  • Add spacetime auth management and deterministic TypeScript shuffle.
  • Correct stale table-only schema({...}) and three-argument-only view guidance. Preserve the root-entry export restriction while distinguishing library helper exports; use camelCase for the existing TypeScript index accessor example.

Feature sources:

Version gates distinguish 2.12 module testing from 2.13 additions (C# composition, view arguments, auth management, shuffle). Examples target current master; a successful docs build is not a claim that all features have been deployed.

API and ABI breaking changes

None. Skills/documentation only; no product code changes.

Rollback safety impact

n/a

Expected complexity level and risk

2 — feature-reference updates across language/client skills, with mirrored packaged copies.

Testing

  • Skill-creator validation for all 10 changed skills. Preserved the CLI skill's existing repository-specific triggers extension; validated its remaining frontmatter/body separately because the generic validator does not accept that extension.
  • Plugin parity: node codex-plugin/scripts/check-skills-sync.ts (all 11 files).
  • Docs discovery generation; verified all 11 output contents and SHA-256 digests against canonical skills.
  • Docs typecheck and production build, including broken links.
  • Current-source TypeScript RNG/environment/submodule suites: 23 tests passed.
  • Extracted TypeScript module-test example against published spacetimedb@2.12.0: 1 test passed.
  • New TypeScript environment/submodule/parameterized-view/shuffle examples typecheck against current source with TypeScript 5.9.3.
  • Extracted Rust complete module + new environment/view declarations + unit test: native cargo test, 1 test passed against current source.
  • Extracted C# environment/view declarations and composition/context access compile as separate library/root assemblies using current-source runtime/generators and .NET SDK 10.0.402 (zero warnings/errors).
  • C++ environment example/accessors pass native C++20 syntax check (expected ignored-WASM-attribute warnings).
  • All 6 SpacetimeAuth example commands parse against the current source's Clap definitions. No auth service requests or configuration changes were made.
  • git diff --check.

Snippet checks used isolated temporary projects, not tracked test fixtures. C# was a managed compilation check with temporary LLVM-package exclusions on macOS, not WASM publication/live deployment. Rust's first build hit the host's invalid C.UTF-8 locale; the retry with LC_ALL=C passed. Docs emitted the existing stale Browserslist and ask-ai Markdown-conversion warnings.
