- Line 15: Clarify the stored-ID fallback in the “Scan” description: state that
BeatsCheck uses the stored ID only when the current album lookup returns no
track files or no current track file matches; otherwise, remove the fallback
claim if that is not the intended behavior.

Summary
When a flagged file has a Lidarr track file ID, the delete goes only through Lidarr's bulk track-file delete, and Lidarr removes the file at its own path. So a wrong match deletes Lidarr's copy and leaves the flagged file on disk. The lookups that give flagged files their IDs could match a file that isn't Lidarr's:
/data/Incoming/Artist/Album/01.flac) matched Lidarr's/data/Artist/Album/01.flac, because the path ending is the same./data/Artist/Album (Deluxe)/07.flacmatched Lidarr's/data/Artist/Album/07.flac.Album (Deluxe)/CD1/07.flacmatchedAlbum/CD1/07.flac, andOther/Greatest Hits/01.flacmatched another artist's album with that title.#314 added a check for this, but only to the whole-folder lookup (
_another_copy_exists).Now:
_is_lidarr_copy(new) holds the rule. Lidarr's track file is the flagged file only when the whole path from the artist folder down is the same, Lidarr's path isn't a different file on this disk, and the same path under the artist folder doesn't also exist higher in the library._pick_lidarr_copyapplies the rule to a list of candidates. The scan lookup, the lookup before a delete and the folder lookup from fix: send a folder delete's tracked files through Lidarr when Lidarr doesn't track the flagged file #314 all call it. The lookup before a delete no longer has its loose pass._drop_wrong_lidarr_matcheschecks the IDs saved by earlier scans again. It reads Lidarr's artist list and clears a saved match that fails the rule, has no saved Lidarr path, or belongs to an artist Lidarr no longer lists. The lookup that follows tries those files again. If the artist list can't be read, nothing is deleted. The cleared fields are written back tocorrupt_details.json, because auto-delete reads that file again.corrupt.txt.A flagged file with no match is deleted directly, as before. Behaviour changes:
docs/lidarr.mdnow says the scanned folder must hold the artist folders.docs/lidarr.mddescribes the rule under Path handling, and the folder-delete bullet now refers to it.Testing
tests/test_lidarr_copy_match.py(8 tests, 24 cases) stubs the Lidarr API around files in a temporary library. Lidarr sees the library at the same path or at a different one.corrupt.txt, and the folder lookup stops when saved matches can't be checked.test_only_the_files_being_deleted_are_looked_upnow saves a valid match with its Lidarr path and expects one artist-list read. It still checks that the file not being deleted isn't looked up.node --checkclean.Summary by CodeRabbit
