I reworked your PR and sent #6797. All the commits needed to be squashed and the commit messages needed to be consolidated. On top of that, there were way too many comments. I refactored & simplified the solution, but I kept you as the author since the root of the idea was still yours. I also added some tests to hopefully capture all the relevant use-cases. |
