Native class measurement can spend its wall-clock allowance replaying candidates in descendant processes. When the cell deadline expires or the campaign receives SIGTERM, terminating only the JVM can leave that work running while the next cell starts.
Run each POSIX cell in its own process group and terminate the owned group on timeout or interruption. Preserve the existing measurement schedule and timeout outcome, and record the child PID, process-group identity, elapsed time and log hash.
Validation: all 24 focused campaign Python checks passed, including real parent/grandchild fixtures for timeout and SIGTERM cleanup. No symbolic machine or broad test suite was run.
