MultipackParser is a Qt6/C++17 HMI bridge between Multipack palletizing plans (.rob) and Universal Robots UR10/UR20 palletizing workflows.
This wiki is the practical guide for operators, robot integrators, and developers.

- Imports and parses Multipack
.robfiles. - Stores pallet plans in SQLite (
paletten.dbby default). - Serves robot data via the built-in XML-RPC server, default
0.0.0.0:8080. - Exposes the robot-facing endpoint normally used as
http://192.168.0.10:8080/RPC2. - Talks to the Universal Robots Dashboard Server, default
192.168.0.1:29999, for status and control. - Monitors scanner/safety state and plays warning/alarm audio.
- Supports online and offline signed update workflows.
On startup the application initializes logging, loads settings.json, opens the SQLite database, refreshes .rob files from the configured USB path, starts the XML-RPC server when server.auto_start is enabled, connects to the robot Dashboard Server, and then starts audio/safety/update services.
Robot clients must not treat a reachable XML-RPC socket as application readiness. Poll get_status() or UR_GetStatus() and wait for ready == true before requesting pallet, package, layer, or position data.
| Profile | Purpose |
|---|---|
UR10 |
Single-pallet workflow with two-scanner status values. |
UR20 |
Two-pallet workflow with active-palette management and three-scanner status. |
The configured robot model is stored in settings.json as info.UR_Model.
