Before:
\truemeanfnexpanded to\targetfn, so redefining\targetfnlater would silently change the true mean function. There were no short forms.After:
\truemeanand\truemeanfnare both\mu.\truemeanf{x}is\truemean\paren{x}and\truemeanfnf{x}is\truemeanfn\paren{x}. Every one prints μ or μ(x), as before, so no page changes.\truemeanfnand\truemeanfnfstay working but theirinterpretations.tsvrows now say they are deprecated in favor of\truemeanand\truemeanf(Ezra's calls in the project thread, after the name-shortening question in #224).How: four lines in
macros.qmdandinterpretations.tsvrows for the two new keys and the two deprecated ones.cut -f1 interpretations.tsv | sort | uniq -dis empty, and\truemeanand\truemeanfwere unused in macros, lds, sds, pds and mds. The PDF check was not run because the printed output is unchanged by construction.
