Read the release summary checksums from the staged bundle. The 1.17.1 release promotes an existing six-file bundle, so the old parent checksum path is not present.
The failed release stopped before tagging or publishing. The actual staging shell now passes locally for both 1.16.5 and 1.17.1, with missing and extra files still rejected. All 36 release checks, 8 scheduling checks and actionlint pass.
