Is it possible to access matplotlib.patches.Rectangle (which is not inside pyplot) through this package?

    Very late but maybe for others:
    You can access it via PythonPlot.matplotlib.patches.Rectangle

    Yes, PythonPlot.matplotlib gives you access to the whole module.
