spec.files globs lib/**/*.rb plus LICENSE.txt, README.md, and CHANGELOG.md instead of using git ls-files, so the gem no longer ships test/, .github/, flake.*, or rubocop config, and building it no longer requires a git checkout. test/gemspec_test.rb builds the gem and asserts it contains exactly the git-tracked lib/**/*.rb files and the three docs. It fails if an untracked file under lib/ would be packaged.
