Hey there👋 I'm Code
I'm a full-stack software engineer who's been building software for most of my life. I like figuring out how things work, building software people enjoy using, and working on open source projects with other devs.
I've been building websites since the mid 2000s, so I've watched the web change quite a bit over the years, even more so now with AI. I started out as a software intern, spent my share of time in gray cubicles, and eventually moved into leading distributed teams and projects with great people around the world.
For many of those years, I worked on medical applications, logistics platforms, embedded UIs for all kinds of systems, file system tools, and plenty of other things in between. No two projects were ever the same, so things always stayed interesting. I spent a lot of time outside of work learning new tools, building side projects, and pushing myself further than the job asked for. A lot of that came from genuinely enjoying the work and always wanting to get better at it.
Most of my professional work has been with TypeScript, C#, and reactive programming. Angular has been a core part of that work for more than a decade, usually backed by C# and ASP.NET or Node.js and Express. Outside of work, I like messing with embedded systems like Raspberry Pi and Espruino, along with 3D printing, hardware modding, game development, vector art, and pretty much anything else digital.
